The incredibly versatile Castelli Unlimited Puffy Vest combines warmth with easy packability. It is made of two layers of fabric: a windproof, water-resistant outer made from DWR-treated woven microfiber, and a slim but cozy inner lining of Polartec® Alpha® Direct insulation. The side panels and pockets, also treated with DWR, are made from Nano Flex stretch woven fabric. This promotes a great fit, allows for some flexibility, and encourages air circulation. This vest is perfect for wearing in spring and autumn on the roads or for summer mountain rides. It provides comfort in temperatures as low as 12°C/54°F and comes with two large back pockets, a zippered chest pocket, and a wind-proof YKK® Vislon® zipper. It can fit comfortably under your weatherproof layers and can easily be packed away if you get too warm. It is the perfect 'just in case' warmer to store in your seat bag.
