Machined rather than forged for absolute precision, the Abbey Bike Tools Dual Sided Bottom Bracket Socket Tool is designed to be compatible with both Shimano Dura Ace and Ultegra bottom brackets, depending on which side you use.Both sides feature an inner nub in the center, which is the same size as the crank spindle. This provides a second point of contact, keeping the tool perfectly centered and preventing it from slipping off and causing damage to your BB cup. You can trust this tool even when you need to apply a lot of pressure to loosen the bottom bracket. Additionally, there are finger splines to make it easier to hand thread the socket tool when a 3/8" torque wrench is not required.This tool is lightweight, compact, and anodized in a beautiful green color. It also has clear markings to ensure you know which side to use. It fits perfectly and achieves tight tolerances with the new Shimano DA-9000/XTR-BB93 bottom bracket, as well as with the 6800 Ultegra and 5800 105 11-speed groups (BBR-60).
