This contact is guaranteed irrespective of the shoe model when using the 2mm shim.• An additional pedal contact- spikes can be installed by adjusting the cleat height with the different sized shims (.05, 1 and 2mm) slipped under the cleat. The total obtained contact area is 460 mm2, by far the largest on the market, and which in turn promotes power transmission and provides unprecedented comfort.NEW PATENTED ENTRY SYSTEMThe new “S” shaped wire-spring operates as a torque bar (LOOK patent) and is incredibly efficient: easy cleat entry and release in all conditions, no more surprise releases, excellent durability.This wire-spring was tested in the most severe conditions in the laboratory and field.
