Steven is the founder of OE Bikes. A keen cyclist, mechanic and shop owner. He has worked in bike shops from an early age. Stripping and repairing bikes for friends and customers over the years led him to opening OE Bikes(formally known as Outdoor Escape).
He felt the Midlands needed a quality bike shop that could cater for the ever growing cycling community. His obsession with all things bike has given him a great foundation of knowledge and expertise to help advise you on your next bike purchase.
On a bike, he’s competed in Downhill and XC events, winning several events. In his later years, he arrived at road biking, where he raced up to the A1 level as well as partaking in the 2011 edition of ‘An Post Ras’.
